In-Person Color Bar Passport
The definitive read a photo can't give: a live sensor reading in person, for the strongest possible calibration.
Outcome: Measured Color Bar result with the clearest authority and upgrade path.
The free photo path stands on its own. The live Color Bar stays as the premium measured tier — the definitive read, not the only credible way in.
How the guided photo path works
1Start your profile and tell us where to send the result.
2Tell us what you want your colors to help with so the profile is built around a real job.
3Upload the four daylight references that anchor the read: face, eyes, hair, and skin.
4Confirm the eye, hair, and skin refinements so we know what the photos are actually showing.
5We review the set against light, framing, and consistency before returning your saved Unichrome ID.

What stays true to the bar
Skin leads
The profile starts from skin and daylight face context. Eye and hair are refinements, not replacements.
Guided, not dumped
We do not ask for a pile of images without structure. The process follows the same logic as the bar.
Confidence stays explicit
If the light is weak or the framing is not trustworthy, we say so and ask for a retake.
Operational promise
Turnaround
Photo submissions should come back within 2 business days when the reference set is usable.
Retake rule
If daylight, framing, or color cast are too weak to trust, we ask for a retake before finalizing the profile.
Upgrade path
When the photo path is not sufficient, the result should clearly recommend the in-person Color Bar instead of bluffing certainty.

Why the distinction matters
In the archive, color comes from the sampled object itself. In personal color, an in-person reading comes from the sensor. The photo Color Bar is a separate tier: guided by images, reviewed by protocol, explicit about confidence, and still structured around the same underlying reading logic.
